Overview

Punjab Medical Entrance Test - PMET 2022 is Combined Online Counselling conducted by Baba Farid University of health sciences for admission to undergraduate (Medical/Dental) courses in all the Medical/Dental Colleges including under Private Universities and Minority Institutions in the State of Punjab.

The admission process is strictly based on the National Eligibility-Cumulation Entrance Test (NEET).

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for admission, candidates must have qualified NEET-UG2022 and be eligible according to Punjab Govt notifications/amendments/corrigendum. Letter dated 06.06.1996 from the Personnel Department.
Simply applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses on the basis of NEET-UG-2022 does not confer eligibility. The Admission Committee will strictly follow the rules and regulations outlined in the Punjab Government Notification(s) as published in this prospectus, as well as all other documents required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM.
The Admission Committee, which the Punjab Government has formed for this purpose, will conduct Counselling and admissions.

How to Apply

STEP-1

Click on “Click here to apply admission application form for admission to MBBS/BDS Course under NEET UG-2022”

(The candidate must check the seat matrix of MBBS/BDS Courses, session 2022 before applying for MBBS/BDS online Counselling under NEET UG-2022.)

STEP-2

Enter the “Reg. No.” and “Password” and submit the details.

STEP-3

Check the seat matrix by clicking on “Colleges/Seat Matrix” icon.

STEP-4

Fill out the admission application form by clicking on the icon “Fill/Edit Admission Form”.

STEP-5

Fill in the choices in order of preference and save by clicking on “Save Choices”.

STEP-6

Click on “Dashboard” icon and check whether all the above steps are completed or not. If yes, steps will be displayed as “Complete, Filled, and Complete”. The candidate can then log out once satisfied with all the above steps.

If found eligible, the Principal shall allow joining.

Provisional Seat Allotment 2022

The candidate will be assigned a provisional seat based on the merit list and institutional preferences entered into the online Counselling form. Seats are allocated on a provisional basis, subject to verification of original documents and eligibility verification by the principals of the respective Colleges. Following the provisional allocation of seats, the candidate must pay the tuition fee through the online payment gateway and report to the assigned college for document verification and eligibility verification. The principal is solely responsible for verifying the eligibility of the provisionally assigned candidate prior to their joining/admission.
